Premieres took place in Kansas City at the Kauffman Center on Saturday, October 13, 2018 and in Washington, DC, at Washington National Cathedral on Sunday, October 21, 2018.

The recording was released August 10, 2018 under the Naxos label. On December 7, 2018 the recording received a 2019 GRAMMY nomination for Best Choral Performance in the classical category.
